mmmm,
my intercom allows it, i've done it, but don't go outta my way 'must remember minidisc, must remember minidisc'...
i guess it also depends where you're riding; 12hr days on american interstates get tedious. (there's only so many mexicans with funny cars you can laugh at).
however, riding thru' some nice twisties, stopping for a feed/brew now & then....where's the need?

I remember my mate telling me he had sounds hooked up on his VT250 years ago, he crashed with Rage playing "fuck you i wont do what you tell me" while his bike was spinning in circles on the road, (not a good look!) personaly I would be looking at ways to lighten my bike not make it heavier, and sound wanky, but i like performance, not ringing ears.
A stereo on your bike would proberbly fall off though.......Originally Posted by **R1**

Goldwings have stereos. But bikes ain't really well known for their creature comforts.. kinda why we have them, isn't it..?
Besides, the 12" sub doesn't fit in my boot, I've tried..
so if you can't have them, then noone else should....good pointOriginally Posted by bugjuice

As it would interrupt the listening enjoyment of hearing the motor on my bike.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
on the gn i didnt go on a long trip without mp3's, doesnt really appeal to listening to mp3's on the zxr, engine revs high and i love it, plus im always out to push it a bit more each time so like to have my concentration, music would just be lost in my mind :E, though... sometimes i ride a hell of a lot better when i just turn loosey goosey and dont care, smooth tight cornering @ speed seems so much easier when u dont care or are amped up, :X
If you want sounds, fit sounds, its yr bike, I guessOriginally Posted by jeremysprite
Personally I need to concentrate when riding, but thats just 'cause I'm not very good, yet.
A man without religion is like a fish without a bicycle
I slip an MP3 player in my pocket and have the ear buds that clipover your ears (like the runners use), that way they sit there when I put the helmet on.
I find the music soothing and helps keep me relaxed. Helps take the monotone out of the windage noise. Don't have it so loud that I can't hear the engine, infact a week or so ago I was out with a mate and could hear his bike over mine AND the music.
