Great bike. Only make sure the cam chain tensioner recall has been done. Email suzuki.co.nz and quote the reg number. They will be able to tell you if it's been done.

What I don't know about gixxer 750's aint worth knowing. I am the gixxer maestro ya know.

The CCT on the new one is dodgy still but I have found that if I cane the ass of it then I can't hear the noises so it must be fixed.

I do,but have no way to scan it.BUT:
it's real simple, find the loom from the ecu to the gearbox, there will be 3 wires in it,blue, which is the neutral wire(leave this one alone...)pink(I think,my piccy doesn't have any colours and it's been a while)and black.Cut the black and pink wires, then solder in a 6.8k or 15k resistor (either for the 750's and 600's ect without the speed restrictor,on the thous and Busa's you need the 6.8k)between the pink/black wires on the ecu side of the cut and yer done .the g/box ends do nothing now so leave them disconnected
    It's that easy.(it won't work on the '97 TLs,they don't have the timing retard...)
