... bet you it was either....a) flooded..... b) kill switch was on...c) carbs were all dirty and it wasnt getting fuel...

ps. the correct way to unflood a motor is...kill switch to off ....then wind it over with no choke

    Cheers : MA

No problem Kelly, happy to help anytime i'm free from work, was only 10 minutes late in the end, wasn't really a law abiding drive to work though lol.

Bike had been sitting around for a few months, combination of a few things, weak battery, motor ended up flooded, fouled plugs etc, after bump starting it up and down the neighbours drive a few times she came to life but still sounding sickish, wasn't running on all four, cylinder four was the culprit (easy way to check this for the newbs out there is touch each header pipe, one will be alot colder than the rest) pulled the plug still had spark, little dirty, gave it a clean, chucked it back in, but still not right, unfortunatly kinda ran outta time to whip the radiator off and check the rest of em, so hoping that was the only real issue with it and needing a good run to clear itself out a bit, if not dont know could be a valve??? Will see.

Kelly if you dont get it sorted and you dont end up going on the Ride, i'm doing a mates fork seals on his FZR250 on Sat and have nothing planned for Sunday, so either you can bring the bike here or i can come to you and finish the job a bit more proper, you got my number.

Yea can do, just find out how many cc's per fork leg and what oil you should run.

    Hi ya Bruce
    Your soooo cool!
Thanks to you... I SHALL BE GOING ON THE RUN!!!!!

I got a wof for her and got her rego. So shes all legal at long last! Slapper kept dying at me at the lights and intersections! I played around with the idle and she seems to go alright for a while. Would you like me to grab those tools to make a shitty job a tad easier?

Once again Bruce thanks so much for all of your help!
