What baffles me is how anyone could pay several thou$$ for a bike at the other end of the country that they have never seen, yet alone ridden.
Has anyone bought a bike this way before?
yip, but it was only $1500... didn't see it, never ridden it, rego on hold, no warrant, it had been crashed - came in 3 piecesOriginally Posted by Drum
but for some reason I knew it would be sorta OK, it was there to be mine...

Yep. Several. All good. Just allow a contingency for what you don't know in the pricing. And ask questions. And use your instinct for an honest manOriginally Posted by Drum

Asked dozens of questions, got got ther right answers but also had back up from the shop too if shit turned to custard.
I wouldn't buy $18000 worth of bikes from a mere mortal over the net without seeing them first ...ever. Would be just asking for bollix![]()
