One question - where would you put the main unit of it? - The seat on CBR's is easy to get off to kill it.

put it under a fairing somewhere or maybe under your tank the box aint very big maybe the size of a big cigerette packet? 12cm x 3cm x 10ish? :S

Under the tank sounds good but... wont that get to hot? Especially when you have stopped after a long run.

Before you all jump in buying these things, it'll also pay to find out if they still use 'normally closed' immobiliser relays. If so, it means that cutting the power to the unit will allow the bike to be started. That means, snip one wire and ride away.

Well then we may aswell just get cardboard boxes with wires coming out so it appears like there is a security system on board

I just use an alarmed disc lock by XENA simple to use and noisy enough (120db) to wake the neighbours ...............prick of a thing to get off, and imobilises your bike, can use it in the street as well.
Also have a fuckin big dog who doesnt like visiters when I'm not home.
Brought mine direct from the USA over the net for about $20 less than the NZ ones(landed) because the agent fucked around.:slap:

I've seen how clever these scum thieves are. That's why you never skimp on the installation costs.
