Seen a few of the Steel Mate alarms installed in cars and they seem to work ok.
Cheep enough too, I like the idea of being able to turn the siren on while riding! Heh heh heh...
We all have our little obsessions...
I BET I COULD GET YOUR MUM ON THE BACK TO SQUEAL IF ANYONE TRIES TO STEAL THE BIKE FOR CHEAPER THAN THAT!
It sounds ok, I'll be watching this thread to see what peoples comments are.
I've been away but I'm coming back.

Jaycar stuff is generally pretty good quality and very reasonably priced. Be aware tho that the insurance company probably wont recognise it.
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off
I have brought and paid for Dss3's alarm that he sold to me on tuesday had heaps of conversations with him but has died off, hope I am still gonna get it....

You should of picked it up yesterday when you were down. Dss3 is a good dude, you'll get it.Originally Posted by texmo

woud an alarm work on a 250 two stroke?
i had a look on trademe and its looks like a guy is selling something pretty similar for dirt cheap (new)

Car type alarms don't last too long on bikes. Too much vibration and too exposed to the elements.
Stick to dedicated bike units.
Speed doesn't kill people.
Stupidity kills people.
that is for bikes, isn't it, Lou..? Or did I read the first line wrong..??
if enough (4 or more) were interested, you could get yourself a wee discount
