    HARD TO FIND A GOOD ALARM AT A REASONABLE PRICE , ANYONE TRIED ONE OF THESE?

    Seen a few of the Steel Mate alarms installed in cars and they seem to work ok.
    Cheep enough too, I like the idea of being able to turn the siren on while riding! Heh heh heh...

    Jaycar stuff is generally pretty good quality and very reasonably priced. Be aware tho that the insurance company probably wont recognise it.

    I have brought and paid for Dss3's alarm that he sold to me on tuesday had heaps of conversations with him but has died off, hope I am still gonna get it....

    woud an alarm work on a 250 two stroke?

    i had a look on trademe and its looks like a guy is selling something pretty similar for dirt cheap (new)

    Car type alarms don't last too long on bikes. Too much vibration and too exposed to the elements.
    Stick to dedicated bike units.
