would have been plenty of time to check the lighting conditions, focus, may be play with a few different lenses and filters, few sample shots to check settings and light, then a quick coffee and prep themselves for the final snap..

    Good luck...
Yeah, the landlord is an arse (so is the law) they refuse to let me break my tenancy which ends in Sept 2006 and fail to understand why I want to move because of this?!?!... blah blah. Anyway I am in the process of taking them through the tenancy tribunal, it may be the best $20 I ever spend...

Str8 Jacket - this dosen't feel right. The hairs on the back of the neck going up on reading this one. Look after yourself and take NO chances whatsoever at any time. I can't assist but I hope there are other members to provide support in Wellytown for you. Keep us updated!

Yeah it IS scary especially when I caught him jumping away from the window when one day I decided to go slowly and stop to turn around to see if he was doing it... I dont know how long he's been doing it and what hes doing with the photos. Its even scarier that I live there by myself and the landlords don't "see" a problem.
I have been staying at my boyfriends for the last week and will be staying there until I can move out and find another flat. It just sux that im paying for a flat that I cant live in!

Honestly, we live in NZ, where, so far, there aren't quite as many weirdos as other places around the world, nor those weird cases of road rage etc - besides the hammer one I suppose.

Turn around, approach calmly, and ask "Out of interest" blah blah.

When people are approached calmly and politely, you'll get far more out of them, and if reasonable people, far more co-operation.

edit: woops, missed the second page, this is pointed at Keystone...

When I caught him taking photos of me I talked to another cop who agreed that he was well known for taking photos of people and has attacked people in the past for confronting him about it. I am currently fighting my landlords to allow me to re-assign my lease and am awaiting the court date for a restraining order against him, which I applied for under the civil harrasement act... I havent been home for a week and dont plan on it either, so believe me it IS scary and at the least a huge annoyance!
Given that I'm 6'4" and 120kgs have a black suit and 'bouncer' leather jacket (I could wear either). I could just pop down the road and sit outside your place with a camera watching him..... I don't give a sh*t if he has a go - I've been good for awhile now. Could be just enough to send him over the edge - get him committed for xmas.

Good decision. Possibly moving your stuff out to make sure this "individual" gets the idea that you're gone from there. Keep going with the landlord etc, but if it costs to not live there and you are safe...

I believe we have a winner...

While Str8 Jacket is away from the house (let's face it - she's not too comfy being there) a bunch of friends should be ok to sit outside and film him?

    Maybe in shifts 24x7...

    ... an internet cam maybe?

No worries, that sounds like a horrible situation to be in. It's one thing to have your photo taken at roadworks, another to be harrassed by someone with a history of mental illness.

Good luck, hope it works out for you!

Thanks for all the concern guy's. However scary and annoying the situation is, I am a Deputy Registrar for the MOJ and HAVE to do thing LEGALLY. I myself would love to have someone "sort him out" however I put my job at risk. Also this guy lives with a mental illness and is somewhat incapable of seeing that what he is doing is abnormal. He believes that what he is doing is right.
Really the biggest problem I have is the idiot landlord... oh yeah and the fact that I have no speedo or odometer atm, but I think I can fix that right now!

Fair enough - He's a nutjob, HE has rights all minorities do.

Hey, SJ who's the chick who rides down from our way every morning on a dark blue SV (I think she goes past too quick)? She got long hair.

How about a visit to the landlord then?
