    Okey dokey

I stopped on my way home this afternoon and asked why my photo was being taken. Well, apparently she was just trying out the new camera that had just arrived in anticipation of the laser device that will be attached to it in the very near future to catch speeding motorists.

So, yes, if you are riding through toad works this summer, be careful, be verrry, verrry careful, big brother is watching you...

Is the camera going to be tripod mounted? I would serious concerns if it was hand held ie. accuracy. I can't profess to knowing much about speed cameras but I thought they needed to be mounted on a stable platform?

I saw two Highway Patrol cars taking pics of every car to go round a hastings roundabout today. Manual speedcamera?

I'm sure it's got something to do with the range (thus speed) finding/calculating bit thingy.

Yes, I find toad works a tad trying at times. They make a horrible popping sound when you run over them too...

Combine that with the loss of license at 30km /h over and we're fucked... the amount of times I've snuck up to 70ish early at roadworks to pass a truck that's been slow for ages... that's loss of license material that is.

They might have been trying to enforce or prove the confusion caused by the new LTSA round-about rules.
