That sounds fair. An arrow carbon can for my 6r is $800. That they supply bits at all for you 10 year old bike should warm your heart.

Arrow I put a comment up also.

I can get a complete bike for 18K and its is farily good condition. This guy is dreaming.

Ha funny you were 1st in line MDU, but realistically ok yep that is an ridiculous price for a fuel tank, but if there was a completely mint CB1100R ( preferably the RB ) it would be worth a shitload of coin. theres a few RC & RD models floating around the place but not many RBs. and remember the CB1100R was the bike that caused the cc cap on Racing in Aussie back in 83 and was hell expensive to buy new anyhow.
It's the bike that set Wayne Gardner on his way too ( Mentor cycles 6hr endurance racer)

For that money you could beat out and repair an original tank - and have change - and have "patina" - like a mate did to his...

I ve had a play round on the rb, great bike to ride makes a stock bike feel like a bag of jelly, I couldnt give it welly as it was here in Japan I rode it
It hated the new gas, had to wind back the timing to stop the pinky monkeys

As for that tank , I know you could get exhaust pipes from onda . as I dropped a new one and dented it , so replaced it ...( bad hair day that one !!)

so one assumes tanks are still floating around,,,, 6k ...Hmmmmmmm

    Some traders have no idea......

This fella has been trying to sell a Yamaha Virago 250 for months:

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...n-42907555.htm

It's got over 10,000k on it, and he wants $8,000 for it. A brand new one costs $7,000.........
