Im into bikes cause of the sense of freedom , power & cameraderie [sp?] they provide. I also see them as rolling art, a way to express myself artistically. With my many & varied figlass parts, I really enjoy creating that certain 'look', including 60's cafe racer styles ,a customised modern day look, a 70's flat tracker or CAMS/BEARS racers etc etc .All it is to me is combining shapes to create a pleasing whole ie kinetic sculpture

Next question.
It started out as economical transport for me and I found "hey, this is GREAT!" he riding bug got in and burrowed deep - I will lose the bug one day... around about the same time as I lose the ability to breathe.
"Sex appeal" never entered into it, but I did find that some of the chicks I dated did like bikes (I don't think they were interested in me because of the bikes, though.) The feeling of freedom compared with a car, the Zen-like state of total immersion in what you're doing here and now, the economy and the sheer fun of riding a bike.
I'm probably genetically predisposed to enjoy riding bikes - grandfather, great uncles, parents, uncle and siblings all rode/ride bikes. I'd have to be a genetic throw-back to Neolithic times not to enjoy riding bikes.
Motorbike Camping for the win!
i like the fact that a lot of them dumbarse "boy racers" cant ride them.... tends to keep motorcycling down to earth...none of this neon, blow off valve. pssh pssh bull shit that they think is cool.
Only the sound of a 250 screamer with aftermarket exausts and the whine from the gear driven cams........gotta love it!!!
Uh, guess again buddy.Originally Posted by RG100!!

I've seen a fair few bikes with neons. Hondacmx450's 1100 was like that: "streetfighter" config with shitloads of neon highlighting the engine and wheels, Aluminium box frame polished to mirror finish, anodised bits, plenty of carbon fibre, aftermarket cans - totally pimped ride. My three-year-old heard it roll up and said "Batman bike" - and that was before he came outside and saw all the neon in action.Originally Posted by RG100!!

I just like riding bikes.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
we will remember them
