I dunno, i s'pose i got my bike cause i have always wanted one...i was more into performance cars, not this chrome and bling shit, proper engine work etc, and then when i got my bike, i just sort of fell in love with it!

I like the fact that it takes a helluva lot more talen to ride a bike well than to be able to just drive.
My car is still at home in the garage, i still look lovingly at it when i open the door, but the bike is the weapon of choice 90% of the time.

I dunno, dont really care bout the image etc...but i guess it is cool.

My three-year-old heard it roll up and said "Batman bike" - and that was before he came outside and saw all the neon in action.
Cool fair enough....I personally dont really like neons etc on bikes....I think it ruins the 'bike' look of....Almost like the neons are to compensate for something on the bike to make it look more bling.

I like the idea of neon inasmuch as it would make the bike more visible, especially if you arrange it in such a way as to have a "WTF is that?" effect on the cagers. So far as a hoon-mobile goes, I'd rather go for the non-descript, understated look with shitloads of real firepower and some kick-arse mufflers to quieten it down so its lethality is masked. That was always my dream, so I've never understood the loud pimped cars the boi racers favour. In my day it was loud V8s or straight sixes with pimped out interiors - skull knob on the gear shifter, bucket seats, racing steering wheel and a big throaty sound, now it's pimped Subarus with loads of neon and a sound like someone violently throwing up in a tin pail.

I used to love the fact that even my 125s were faster off the line than a lot of the cars on the road - not the serious cars, but Junior Hoon with his pissy 1600 Cortina with twin-throat Webers and fluffy dice was easy prey for the TS125. The RD350 was just evil incarnate...

The word on the street just a couple of weeks ago, though, is that the boi racers won't take on even a 250 these days, which means they've learned what "power-to-weight ratio means... (Bugger!)

i guess ... because riding demands so much more of me than driving

    Arrow Well.

For me its all about enjoyment. I enjoy riding my bike(s). I dont care whatsoever what I look like, nor what others'may think of me.

    YEAH>>>>>

i like the fact that a lot of them dumbarse "boy racers" cant ride them.... tends to keep motorcycling down to earth...none of this neon, blow off valve. pssh pssh bull shit that they think is cool.

Totally agree RG100, Boyracers pisses me off more then anything, if they've got more balls I dare them to ride a real bike and relinquish from all that neon light chrome wheel poofta shite....
and by the way Im in love with the sound of the bike it's music to my ears....
