Thanks for all the messages everyone. I will pass them on.
Take care out there.
Small and dangerous with a sting in my tail!!
Pass a best wish to your friend from me. Fellow Ulyssian and KBr.John.
Will do SG, membership or no membership he is still a "Kiwi Biker" in my mind. I hope the op is a success and that, if he wishes, he is able to ride on two wheels again!Originally Posted by Scorpygirl

That is gay. I hope that he gets better soon, and i sure hope he can ride again asap!. I ride that route every day, the drivers are getting much much worse. Running red lights, not looking, cutting people off, something really needs to be done, it is a matter of time untill another one of us goes down.
Thanks Sniper. Everyone's is so kind!!!Originally Posted by Sniper

Sorry to hear. Hope he can still ride.
I genuinely think Ti Rakau is cursed or something, I travelled it every day for 3 years whilst working in East Tamaki, and saw a minimum of a crash per week, where impatient/stupid drivers would take the stupidest risks, and pay the penalty for it. Strangely enough, I seldom saw any accidents on any other roads ever, and I was commuting from Lynwood Ave in New Lynn, so i covered a truck load of ground every morning/afternoon.

thoughts are with the fallen rider. A bad leg injury can take a long time to come right, it can be a long road. tell your friend to hang in there.

Very nice sentiment Scorpygirl...yes it is a good thing that the driver had enough human decency to assist/stay after causing the accident. They have a legal obligation if not a moral one...too few these days scarper from the scene.Originally Posted by Scorpygirl
My accident causing u-turn freak didn't even pull over to see if I was still breathing...luckily another good samaritan did.
