A man in your occupation shouldn't go rind making such hamhocked attempts at porcine humour.
It only grunts the rest of us the opportunity to take the piss.

Yeah, prolly a low blow but I was getting desperate and a kick to the goolies was my only option.

Xenograft relates to my donkey-sized man-bits I assume?
They are all mine you know, no surgical enhancement required.

Scumdog, I was being purely hypothetical (sp?) I believe that what this guy did IS assault, I do not believe that he should have done it and I actually think its disgusting. However I was just commenting on what the defts lawyers etc may use in this guys defence. As with everything some people may be impressed with what he did (defending his culture) and others (such as myself) disgusted with what hes done. Sorry if Ive offended anyone!

Should be charged to the full extent of the law. People grin when they are nervous. It is mostly a subconcious(sp) thing. So A guy is singled out... he feels nervous.... told he has nothing to worry about....... and gets headbutted??

Sure it's cultural but they are tourists....If it had been a group of saffa's And someone came at one of them the result would have been slightly different methinks (no i am not speaking for all saffa's if someone attacks your family or friends you don't allow it no matter how big or significant the guy is.... it's our culture)
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

A grin was an insult, yes (who cares). What are we going to do? Run round twakking anyone and everyone who isn't sensitive when it comes to a different culture? .............Shall I headbutt someone for shaking my hand rather than touching noses? :spudwhat:

    A headbutt is assault.
It's only an insult if someone is genuinely offended...not because some quick thinking defence lawyer tells his client to say it is. Anyway, when was an insult a valid excuse to assault someone???
Seems to me some folks want Maori culture firmly cemented in the early 1800s....or earlier if possible!

I'm not a maori. I'm not even a Kiwi. I don't know about the challenges and rituals on Marae etc. (though I am trying to learn).

What I do know though is that in Northern Europe, a common feature of nervousness is the smile. It's why guilty Europeans smile... They are nervous.

I've seen the challenge ceremony on TV, and I'd be scared - I'd probably smile as I am one of the nervous smiley types....

I'd hate to be headbutted (or killed) for showing that the Challenge Ritual worked.

    Ooo me too.

When are we going on a civilisation destroying rampage then?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
