Another biker down on Tamaki Dr. (Edited - sorry got the wrong drive - oops)

    Hi all

Just to let you all know that Rhino and I have heard tonight about a very close biker mate of ours who has been injured in an accident with a 4WD - not a KB member but a fellow Ulyssian and one of the best. His leg is smashed up pretty badly and he is going in for major surgery tomorrow. Thank goodness no head or back injury!! However he has been told he may never ride again.

Please keep him in your thoughts.

It's not up to the medic to decide whether or not he rides again. Standard hospital scare tactics.

Will certainly keep him in my thoughts.

    Wish him all the best.

    Does this sound familiar???

The cage driver in question apparently said "I didn't look." This was before doing a u turn.

If I meet the prick, he won't walk again, let alone get behind the wheel of his 4WD.
Keep the shiny side upright, Rhino.

Not sure of true details but a 4WD did a U-turn in front of his bike. The driver said he didn't see him. Please I know it's easy to get angry, but the drriver is beside himself. He stayed with our friend until the ambos arrived, admitted guilt to the police and has called up the hosp at least three times today. I am not saying it is wrong just there but for the Grace of God Go I.

Tis no good to hear bout your mate, I hope all goes with the surgery. It always sucks to hear about a biker going down cause we all know it could have been any of us. Cops pressing charges against cage driver?
    From American dad :
American dads dad: Breaking into a safe is like making love to a woman

American dad: So you just pound on it for two minutes until your done?
