That's F*cking not on!! If it's about a party have another louder one. Have a look around who's got an eye out most of the time, I think you'll get an idea who it might be.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

Sorry to hear that sort of sh#t.
My 2c worth. I would suspect it as some lowlife with it in for the bike as well as you, and knows a bike reasonably well. The average dickhead is more likely to slash the seat/tyres and scatch/brake fluid tour paintwork as they are the easier and more obvious target.
I could be right off track there, but have you pissed off anyone on a bike in the last week or two?
The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight underpants.

Pass anyone at excessively high speed did you?

Apex brake and clutch in Hamilton are the best of the cable repairers up your way. Should be easy to sort some lines out, solder the wiring up yourself

If your bike will still be parked outside until you sell your house let me know if you want to borrow an infra red camera I have. You just need to plug it into a video recorder. I used it to identify a paper thief recently.

I'm not using it at the momemt so you can borrow it for a while.

What drives a person to commit such a horribly vindictive act like this?
Really disappointed to hear that someone could stoop to this level.
Still, BP seems to be taking it all pretty well. Good on ya ~ revenge just leads to another revenge leads to another...

340 indicated burnout to rid yourself of that rear tire!?

plus any other KBs who have tires to destroy could make an evening of it!

Sucks to hear about that and to me it seems as though the person is a biker to know enough to soak the tire in brake fluid etc

If my job interview goes well tomorrow, and his house doesn't sell till sometime next month, I'll be needing to put new tyres on my bike. And as far as I've been able to uncover, Cycletreads seems to be the only folks in the country that can get the Metzler ME880 in the correct size for my front tyre so will have to be in auckland anyway. Just make sure there is a fairly heavy duty fan there cause my bike is air cooled.
