    Thumbs up Choice One!

A big thankyou to MrMelon who somehow got the idea to make and then made an indicator mounting for my bike! I have been waiting for over 3 months for an after market one from the shop, which every week was another 2-6 weeks away and was starting to lose hope that my bike would be semi-ok before Xmas!
To make the moulding he used candle wax to first make a mould (using the left indicator for the shape) and then Selleys Knead-It to make the actual mounting. Once the Knead-It had gone rock solid it made the perfect mounting! So now all I need to do is spraypaint the mounting black (as Knead-It is a grey/white colour) and you'd never know!
Im stoked to finally be able to remove the duct tape, my bike looks a hundred times better than it did and all that for under $8!

Mate when I rang them last week it was gonna be at least another 6 weeks away! That would make it 5 and a half months!!! It would have been faster to have ordered a genuine part!
Keen for a ride this weekend? Sunday?...

Yeah I'm surprised at how well it came out after the 2 seconds of initial planning it had. Done for under $10 and no waiting for the shop!

I've got a camera at home. I might give the indicator mount a bit of a sand and paint before anyone else gets a look at it though!
