    Mugged.

Yesterday as I was coming home from town I was dragged into a garage on the right hand side of Whitaker place on the way down towards my apartment.

I then copped a punch in the face under my right eye. Shuffling and pushing ensued and I managed to hit one of my attackers (there were 2) in the neck with seemingly little effect. I was then thrown into the wall and copped another two punches to the face. The second one put me down where the other guy took my wallet from my hand and kicked me in the stomach.

Then they took off. I lay gasping on the ground for a bit before dusting off and walking to the cops. I'm down $80 and have a swelling under my right eye and tender red patch on my forehead. My stomach has been having problems since then, it hasn't really settled at all, not sure what's going on but I'm still pretty shaken.

Just as a warning to fellow bikers because I know a few live around that area. I've seen a ZXR250 on the hill, but basically just watch your back. I didn't see them until I was dragged in but yeah, be careful.

As far as I know these guys are still out there. Perhaps they chose me because I'm not a huge guy..especially by comparison to them. That and I had my wallet in my hand. I suggest keeping wallets, cash, cards whatever in your pockets and even avoiding walking alone.

    Be safe.

Bugger! Would you know them if you saw 'em again? Effing cowardly pricks
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Wow I'm real sorry to hear that happened.. Thats horrible.. You're very lucky to have only that happen though.

In Sydney you are warned to carry 2 wallets.. one as a decoy.. put a little cash in it.. say 40 dollars, some expired cards. Have your proper wallet stashed else where on you.

They reckon if they steal your wallet over there and aren't satisfied with what is in it, you are likely to get stabbed.

By the way, have you been to get checked out? Specially after taking a kick to the stomach. Could just be bruising but you never know. It is really better to be safe than sorry.

    Arrow As kittie said.

If your having trouble with your abdomen area get yoursel checked out. There are a few nasty complications that can arise and you don't need that as well.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

Whitaker place is just off symonds street I think, It will be the same worthless pricks the justice system in this country ensures can stay on our streets despite a multitude of convictions. But their rights are more important than ours.
