New seal on the Pahiatua Track

Anyone else from these parts been riding the track just to have fun on that way to short piece of new hotmix. Its so wide interesting and flat but way to short. Just wish they would do the whole thing like that.

Anyway enjoy it while you can as with all the Fonterra tankers going over I'll give it a month tops before its ruined again. Expecailly when the weather heats up.

It was bout time they did somthing to that road. I had better go have a play before the gorge gets closed again and the track turns to rubble
There is no dark side of the moon, really, as a matter of fact. Its all dark...

next time you go over there try the turn off to masterton, rode that every morning on the way to palmy but went via the main route to pahiatua in the avo..

Done that one many a time but the best roads to Masterton are over the other side. If you do the Miranda road you can turn left into Falkners road and then onto Route 52. Or otherwise ride through to Pahiatua and take the last left before leaving town. All really good roads.

ironicly thats the way i ride home when on my bike, i come out at eketahuna and then ride 2k north and get to my humble abode! i love that rode out to alfreton! i raced an hsv maloo 6.0 down those roads, when it gets a wee bit twisty and blew the fucker into the weeds with my power to weight ratio [not my lack of skill]

when i have the 650 back on the road we should go for a cruise over there!
