That write-up from the Aussie ex-cop as per Liaz post (also on Damons post #61) is well worth reading, it shows you how much self-serving politicians have their heads in the sand.

These guys (known as Lebs) do not take any notice of the rules of society, the only 'rules' are their own which are racially/ethnicly focused.

It will only be a matter of time before they are thriving in good old 'soft-target' NZ.

A bit off the current subject with this post...
In SA in the 80s, especially in Johannesburg and surroundings, there were 2 "gangs" - the PORRAS and the LEBS.
Night clubs in territorial areas were out of bounds for the opposing faction and the beatings were usually 4 or more on 1 hapless victim!
I was in the army in those days and we used to go on the piss, making sure we were in a group of 6 or more.... these bastards used to join together to beat up on army guys... Unfortunate part is that because they were foreigners they never got conscripted.

Dunno how the OZ govt is going to sort this one out.

They are most likely like we are here, a totally under resourced force coupled by the advent of political bosses out of touch with the realities of policing.

The only way things actually happen is by events far forewarned by cops on the street, actually becoming reality and spiraling into chaos.

But on the upside, at least those aussie cops are being paid for the ridiculous amount of overtime they must be doing.

Not just paid overtime but its actually time and a half from what I've been told.

But working for free is no reward compared to the gracious thanks of the N.Z public so I think we're better off.

I'm actually in Sydney at the moment, have been this week. Talking to folk here, it's a non-event. Nobody seems particulary worried , interested even.

It's been mentioned before but the only way to fix a problem like this is to send the trouble makers home, don't put them in jail where the innocent citizens have to continue to pay for being a victim, send them back to Lebanon (or where ever), they'll soon remember what a good place Australia is to live.

I also liked how the cop suggested they move down to the south island to get away from all the trouble, it's sad in today's stupidly PC world that a country can paint it's self into a corner with being nice to foreigners that they neglect their own people to the point that the citizens think about moving to another country to escape.

I'm afraid I support the "Skip's" on this one

Unfortunately, most of them were born in Oz, it is home.

BTW Scummy and Indoo, I'm getting really depressed hearing your moans of anguish. It's putting me off Xmas.

You hate them because of their culture and attitude, not because of their race. Your not a racist. That being said your local anarchist punk commie types consider anyone who doesnt love every other culture to be a nazi. But most of them are just fuckwits rebelling against "the man" to piss off mummy and daddy.
Farkin 'ell....this is the first time I agree with ye. Good point there, mate.

Although one has to really carefully discern between 'integrate' and 'asimilate'.

Multiculturalism can only succeed if based on integration, where different cultures live along each other's side harmoniously and with respect to one another's difference.

Asimilation, however, would be 'One Nation One People One Culture' thing. References can be seen in Spanish Expedition to South America, Opression on Aborigin People, Maori Marginalization during British colonization, and genocide in African despotic countries.

Oh, and whatever the reason is, calling people by names associated with their physical characteristics (Gooks, Lebs, etc) most of the time can be classified as racism gestures. Unless, they actually use the name voluntarily to identify themselves (e.g: gang names, etc).

    here is a story

last night i was in a apartment block, sitting on a balcony 3 stories up enjoying some jim beam with a few saudi arabians and about 5 others of various middle eastern decent, all are moslems, and all good bastards,
i took 2 of em for a spin on the back of my bike...they had never been on one before
they asked me if i could teach them how to ride, i said sure, one of them was keen on the LOOKS of a SV1000S!
we got talking about religion and politics, these guys are polite well educated people, their english is excellent, and as young ppl (late teens-early 20's) i realised that we all are very similar.
the media and GOVT (lefties) are the ones that push us apart and make us think we have nothing in common with these middle eastern ppl, when in fact, a lot of the westernised ones are just like us
