I'm sending this whole thread to the LTNZ to show that we're not the irresponsible hooligans everyone thinks we are.
    And ACC.

Y'need to set up a noise meter at the start and check that all exhausts are less than 60dB. And some scrutineers to check that all bikes that are supposed to be restricted are still restricted. Better still, get one of the site electrotechies to whip up some restricters so that noone can go faster than 100kph (better make it 90 to be on the safe side)

Have you got someone with a van or car and trailer as a support vehicle? Just in case something unwanted happens. Never can be too sure with these auckland kb rides.

WT: i have notified LTSA's road working contractors currently working around the papakura area. They will have the road coned off to single lane on motorway, so as to avoid any undertaking or overtaking issues. They will also have spotlights placed every 10m, along the ride route, so that there is no danger of anyone being unable to see where they're going.

I have contacted Protecta Safety, and they have agreed to sponsor us with fluro vests.... WIMA can make up the short fall.

Also, OSH are going to conduct a safety inspection of the route tomorrow at 1pm. see, sometimes being a H&S professional comes in handy

But as treasurer and President of WIMA, don't you have your own stash of fluro vests? You keep offering me one when we ride together
