No offence to me, but as people have said, he is in another league at the moment... First time racing 600's and was straight into the 59's (setting a new lap record of 59.1) Yes he may have the most powerful bike there (it was proven many a time on the front and back straight) but his passing manuvoures and riding in general was fucking amazing for his age and experience on a 600....

    I think i need some time on a 125....
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz
    Thanks Colemans Suzuki
    Thanks AMCC

Well, the bike left us completely standard apart form Ohlins and a fancy pipe. As Dave has pointed out, he's one of ours.

I don't whether he had the fasted bike or not - but he can sure ride!
At one stage there were 4 or 5 abreast down the start/finish straight (including the likes of Stroud, Shirriffs, the Aussie, etc) with Smith tucked-in behind with no room to pass, so he went round the outside of the lot using the 30cm or so of pavement between the white line and the grass - just before everyone buttoned-off for the fast righthand sweeper. It was impressive!
