I found a recent transit NZ doc with a list of all the NZ state highways, thought some of you's might be interested.

Thanks! Sure it'll be helpful
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ...
"WOW!! WHAT A RIDE!"
Haven't you got anything better to do, Mr T?
Oh -- wait; I'm on KiwiBiker when I should be working.
Never mind...
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
Exactly, it's worse for me coz I have to use a different PC for internet access (my main one is hooked into the clients private network so no internet). So I walk across the room to the hot desk and use I/net there. Or do some actual work and wait until I get home to surf, but where's the fun in that.Originally Posted by firestormer
I found the list to look at the Rusty Nuts 50th ride which is in Jan 2005. Basically you have 100 hours to get your photo taken by a SH sign or shield on the state highways numbered 1 -> 50. The ones that aren't allocated will be replaced with another SH for the event.

Huh?? According to the file, SH25 goes from Mangatarata to Waihi and is 234K long??? According to every map I have seen, and the signs on the road, 25 goes from Paeroa to Thames, Coromandel, Kouatunu, Whitianga, Hikuai, Whangamata, Waihi.
Then it says SH26 is Paeroa to Kopu. Also utter bollocks.
Couldn't be bothered reading the rest of it...
ACC - It's where the Enron accountants all went.
