Of course, everyones assuming they will fall off!
What a bunch of f**kin pessimists.
All sounds a bit like " but this is all for your own good", to me.

You're all just jealous cos, secretly, you'd like to do the same........

I once went riding with absolutly nothing on. Was a freeing experiance for sure but it got a bit cold at over 100mph.

Well actually I was wearing my sunglasses.

Im not confident enough to ride without a helmet, So far Ive ventured so far as not have gloves on and thats about it. I always have jeans on, no matter how designer they look they are still jeans to me, and I always have a leather jacket no matter what the weather.

Oh yeah and Ive been riding for just over a year, yay me.

Most of the time i probably would - but not always.
So based on the old Bell advert about "...if you've got a $10 head, use a $10 helmet." what does that make your head worth?

Good for you - I don't advocate riding without a helmet - just that sometimes *I* would (if I could - and I have 40 years experience too) , you continue to do what makes you feel confident and comfortable.

    Happy anniversary.

I saw one better last summer this (as far as I could see cause least she had on a helmet) stunning slim bod and butt long haired blond chick coincidentally on an RF900 wearing jandals short cutoff jeans and a short tank top that finnished just below the breast line rideing through symons street in Auckland

And I remember thinking you stupid bitch gravel rash will make a mess of your stunning bod real quick

I don't believe I've reached potential yet. Lets just say a good income from playing with motorcycles.

    Priceless?

    Should be my choice.

What's wrong with wearing a helmet - it'll (hopefully) save your skull, and you instantly look cool when you put it on (depending on the helmet you own I guess) - no matter how corky you look - when that helmet goes on - to bystanders you may well be Mr Biaggi for all intensive purposes.

Nothing at all wrong - but every now and then, you ever hear the expression 'wind in your hair'?
It's not 'an expression' for nuffink.

aaaaaaaaahhhhh - wind in your hair.
Used to do that , waaaaay back when it was not a PC crime..
    and I had hair...!

In fact - a hot bath, of an evening, into shorts, t-shirt and sneakers and a casual blast around Browns Bay - sorta like a kiwi equivalent of leaping out of a sauna into the snow - espec in winter!!!
