    How often do you ride?

Thought it would be interesting to run a poll to see how many of us ride their bikes to work during the week.

Every day to work, every day on weekend. I think that I have had 6 days without riding a bike since I started (July 05).

    yep.

I commute every day on my bike and go touring on days off. On the very occasional day that I don't ride my bike it feels wrong.

Once in a blue moon. Probably something like once in every 1 or 2 months if I am lucky.

That's soon to change hopefully though...

Most days. Only days I don't are when I have to lug something or someone, or something like taking a cage for a WoF at luchtime. Weather is not a valid reason not to ride.

    Yeah I know the feeling.
Myself I ride every day only not always to work because on my off days I either feel too tired from staying up too late and go for the safer option of the cage or I wake too late and don't have time to put all the bike siht on.
On those days I always find an excuse to go for a blat after work when I'm feeling more alert. Even in the rain. I get some kind of strange enjoyment out of riding in the wet. You have to get everything just right.
That may change when the bike I've ordered finally arrives, I'll want to keep that dry. Maybe I'll need to keep the rat for rainy days, on one of those "ride to work only" registrations.

It's my only way to get to work and back, so every day rain or shine.

Usually a coro loop or kaiaua gp at the weekend as well...

Almost every day. Don't like to when it's threatening rain, not because of getting wet, but the bike has an intermittant wet weather issue which I'm not certain is solved. The one time I have ridden it in solid rain, it ran increasingly more roughly until after a few kays it decided it'd finally had enough and quit. Had to push the bloody thing to work, I was a grumpy Deviant by then! And rather soaked as well. :spudgrr:

Rode most of the almost 80km trip home (straight all the way, fuggit) last night in persistant drizzle, but the bike happily didn't miss a beat. Bloody glad it didn't; I was in the middle of nowhere and it was getting on for 1am.

But when I am certain the wet weather issue is solved, I'll probably still take the cage when it's raining. Can't be arsed changing and my work requires a neat appearance.
