Was down in Wanganui with the countless others yesterday. Beautiful day, just wanted to share a few snaps I took at the time.
    Picture Key:

Jpg 3; Andrew Stroud leading on the Penultimate lap of the 1st heat of the Robert Holden Memorial race over the Vesrah Overbridge.

Jpg 4; Andrew Stroud through Toyota corner in one of the Formula 2 Heats

Jpg 6; Lance Lowe of Auckland coming off the Vesrah Overbridge in the Robert Holden Memorial race.

Jpg 8; Shaun Harris of New Plymouth coming off the Vesrah Overbridge in the Robert Holden Memorial race.

Jpg 9; David Johnson leading Hayden Fitzgerald coming off the Vesrah Overbridge in the Robert Holden Memorial race.

Jpg 10; Craig Shirriffs coming off the Vesrah Overbridge in the Robert Holden Memorial race Heat One on the final lap heading down the Start/Finish straight after passing Andrew Stroud over the back part of the track to take victory.

    Brilliant pics mate, thanks
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

My brakes have been at Motorad for two weeks now, and was supposed to have them back by Christmas, but they got bogged down with work so we drove up, anyway here are some photos from the S bend, I have plenty more and will upload those to my web storage at some point soon along with the originals (but they are 2 megs each), if anyone can help with names.

    >>I also posted this in one of the side threads but this should be made a generic boxing day thread for all photos so we can just use the one thread...

Both Shirriffs and McEwen were flying. Was impressive to see McEwen going so well after his last stack.
Shirrifs seemed to be in a class of his own. Giving Stroud a going over on his 600 vs the Thou. Great day out though, gutted I only got my cam half way through, missed any Sidecars or Motards.

Racing is not all about displacement and power but how you use it. The 600 is so nimble and free flowing. I was amazed to watch them going over the bride. So much speed. It is also amazing how much speed they can shed. Shirriffs has an amazing future if he keeps that up. I am no racer nor have I ever been, but I know what looks good and his stye is good. Nice pics by the way.

Here's a couple that I took. I have a lot more but they need re-sizing before they could be posted.
