Okay i am wondering if anyone as any one of these models the wakaito/bay of plenty area that could ne used so wife can take for a little ride see what they are like, before we look at buying one. Or if someone knows one in a dealers somewhere where we could go and 'test ride' would be helpful.

We have found an 04 gsxr1000(yellow of course) for a killer deal. but since its brand new, can't demo it and contact hasn't had much luck finding one.

So if anyone can help can they please pm me or reply here and i check back later.

Fuck that one in matamata has been there for fkn ages, not surprised you're getting the killer deal on it. Mint bike though, you could ride mine it's the safest and slowest GSXR1000 in the world, no motor does that though.

    Thumbs up 2002

    Hi C

I have a 2002 that she could take for a ride.

It is quite tall though as I have put the ride height up about 6mm which would be about 12-15mm at the axel.

    Cheers

Your a shocker Bruce do any of your bikes acutally see more than 6 months on road before ya brake them?? hahahaha

Saul might give you a look up, if my other contact falls thru, its a bugger have found every one of the other 1000cc to ride, just not gixxer. With you raising yours might make it a little hard for wife to ride, how much is it raised at seat height?

    Hi mate

    Well I moved it on

I have only had the gsxr for 2 weeks. Its a very good ride and even though it is a little down on HP at the rear wheel compared to the R1 it is very smooth and fuels very nicely and can be riden quite quickly:spudbooge

    No you cant have it
The gixxer has a brilliant engine and delivers power in a very civilied manner. My R1 had quite a bit of engine work done and was a lot of fun, I don't really know why I moved it on, but it has gone to a good home

Have a great Christmas mate maybe we will catch up and then you can explain the mystery of your gixxer???
