    TRTNR - Wgtn ride 22/12/05

Rumour has it there is a ride this Thursday. Meet 6ish for 6.30pm mad f***ing dash Ghostrider-styles run from the Maungaraki carpark to the Maungaraki lights. Please remember to look both ways before exiting the carpark.

Strong possibility that the riders who make it through the intersection will be off for some hijinks before terminating at the Breakers pool hall (above grumpy hole). Unless a pursuit terminates it earlier. But we all know pursuits are never terminated - Skelstar's too quick for them girls.

AND... wait for it... this could be the week that we're graced by the presence of a VIP... unless there's weather. Any weather. Yeah, you know I'm talking about you!!

Excellent, I'll expect them to look like this by the top of the hill. Except maybe narrower...

Got some fuzzy photos of you (no not from the fuzz) on Sunday but theyre not really worth bothering with. Theres some goodies in Zapf and BabyB's collections though.

You want to grow some nuts son. That tyre was from the track day and that loose rubber is probably been picked up from the track not layed down.

Nah, tyre looks sadly fresh after Sunday. Bugjuice and I were just about to hit Frosty up for an upgrade to the fast group when the clouds turned up again so I got a couple slow laps in Med again in drizzle. Since we were pretty close we figured we'd head out at the back of fast and get in at least five clear laps before the hot guys caught us. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure I had a clear lap the whole trackday. Not that I'm saying I was the man, far from it, but there just always seemed to be someone in front on at least one corner that slowed things up a bit, either for me or for whoever I was following. Zapf had one pic, BabyB had a few. I'll need to hit her up for some high res ones. That tyre pic is from the last Manfeild trackday in Sept.

It's not my fault you can't keep your rubbers securely fastened.

I take it you'll be wearing some type of clothing as well?... It gets cold at night.
