Are StreetFighters Really Cool?

Aye corumba Sling. I have spent a very large amount of time researching this and have def tastes and the pic you posted doesnt come close . Each to his own.

The kind that I like is pictured below. I really dont like the pointy up tail thing, and just dont understand why they do that. I like the very short tail (like XB12S) but more tidier lines than what they can be.

I find the twin headlight triumph styles a bit boring too. Now the Z1000 stock looks good.

That pic is cool too...The pic was really just for people that had no idea what a SF is...it's kinda of the thing that I'm thinking (I like the pointing up tail) but I'd want to do it darker and more mean looking...not so much in ya face.

This is a long term plan anyway...maybe in 18-24 months and by then I'll probably have gone off the idea.

I'm thinking that my next bike needs to be a bit on the unique side...I'm thinking StreetFighter!!!

In some of the pics I've seen, the StreetFighters look mint, in others they just look like tacky pieces of crap!

So, I've got this idea in my head that if a StreetFighter is done properly it's a piece of art and an expression of individuality. Am I right or do people just think they're ghay?

If you've got a pics of StreetFighters that either fit into the Cool or Ghay category...post them with your thoughts about what makes it cool or ghay.

Dude, go with what you want to do, if you want a street fighter then get one, don't listen to people who say they are crap, they won't be riding it you will be, so fuck em, do what makes you happy. Give it bash, at least try it.....nothing speaks better than personal experience.....

Got a bike in mind? Old GXSR1100 could be a goer. Loosebruce had a fightered TL1000S that looked...interesting. Drew's FZR750 would look cool fightered.

the other good thing about the fighters is that the can bee alot of fun at speed from 130-150 so you dont loose your licence if the copers come across you

I reckon a lot of the look of a fighter comes down to what the headlights look like. The 3rd pic in TWR's gallery shows a VMax with kick arse headlights. Would make my bike looks heaps better I reckon.

You can do that to any bike if you wanted to.

Although I must say I really like the thought they've put into the seat. Having riden mine once for 5 hours only stopping for gas, I could defienately do with a firmer seat like that.

The features I'd want are:

• Fat rear wheel
• single side swingarm
• Nice clean lines around the rear wheel with lots of "empty space"
• Pointy up tail piece
• Pod filters directly on the carbs
• Mini front fairing with funky shaped headlights
• Small zorst cans...but probably 4 of em.
