Whats the fastest you've been caught speeding??

Was thinking about it today and i was wondering what the fastest anyone has been caught doing?? How did they catch ya?? what were the repercussions??

I can see the papers saying that some fulla appeared in court today doing over 200k's and making a big deal out of it and then the biker community going bad luck son, i do that to go to the shops.

I havent seen much publicised in papers etc about bikers getting caught doing excessive speeds. Often it is boy racer this and boy racer that. Is it because were to fast to catch??

    Whats your thoughts/Stories??

Just before MB gets here: you have to be caught and ticketed, or does that include successful runners?

Been caught a couple of times, once when I younger at over 250km/h and another only a year or so ago at 172km/h on a straight, empty piece of highway with good visibilty. The early one I didn't even know he was there until I slowed to 50'ish for the built up zone.

(Disclaimer) There may have been other 'offences' but lets not get into those. No need to get myself a reputation. Finally I've learnt my lesson and keep the speed controller well in check these days, sick of losing my licence. I'll save high speeds for the track now, too damn risky on the roads for a number of reasons.

caught ticketed and appeared in court if it came to that would be of interest. Although if you do have a wild tale don't hold back

With a top-speed of $1.40...errmmm...estimated , I would have to make a story up in that case.

Cops in Texas give up the chase at about 180Mph. That wasn't on a bike though.

I caught myself speeding the other day, looked down at the dash and I think I must of been haulin cause the needle was almost off the gauge....... and that wasn't on the Street Magic

It's amazing what driving a heavy, slow vehicle all day does to you..
