    Not sure if this counts

my PB for a brush with the Law.

myself and another KBer north bound S/H/Way between Oheiwai and Rangarirri, 195 kph just before the end of the two lane section saw the patrol car a bit to late

All the cop did was get out of his car, wave madly and gave us the fingers ! .

But just in case we turned off crossed the river and came via the back way.

Been done 1kmh away from walking (in a 50k, empty street sunday morning) and it cost me 1.3k because of liscence restrictions.

I really want to see a speed trap in a 30k housing zone or something LOL

As Skelstar so eloquently pointed out... I haven't been caught speeding on a bike. But unlike Skelstar, my beastie can crack $1.40, and I can tell you a thing or two about the variances between what the police publish about their pursuit policies and what they actually practice...

In a cage, the biggest speeding ticket I've had was 143 in 100. Years ago. Got busted after being chased at up to 180 in a 50, but that was dangerous driving/driving while disq/failing to stop for red & blues. 18 months disq and 3 months PD. Bit of a bugger too, that cage was a lot more comfortable to drive than the one I bought to hack around in for the next 17.5 months.

So you KNOW the officer had the time to call in the pursuit and have it logged in???????

I've only ever had one speeding ticket in my life, and that was for doing a criminal 125kph along the Himatangi Straights at 9am on a Sunday morning. I've been warned a couple of times but this guy made me feel like I was the lowest of the low. Yes, it did make me slow down, but I hated him with a vengeance for many years, think I've only just got over it now!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

one time coming home from work i had a car full of patch members take a disliking to my bright yellow gsxr 400 so i speed away then around the next bend there was a cop i was doin 180 in a 80 k zone so is thought ill run ive already lost my licence i out ran three more cops on the way home only to find out that my house had been robbed and my farther had called the police so they were waiting for me when i got home i got over 2k in fines because of licence breaches and lost the licence for 6 months the bike for 1 month and a big lawyers bill and speed dosent kill stopping too fast kills.
they never clocked but in court they said they used a sound meter ? to determin i was doing over 100mph and also said they were chasing me at no less then 180kph i said i was doing the speed limit but the judge didnt beleve me.

Face it mate, you're born to lose. With an experience like that I can't believe you would be stupid enough to come up with the scheme you posted over in the "If you're doing nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear" thread.

You gotta watch those sound meters, the cops can hear you coming. The best way to beat them is to put the standard can back on.

Man that is some bad ass luck. I think that one wins the award for 'If your gonna have a shit day, no point doing it half arsed'. An awsome tale to tell none the less.

Indeed he was....had lots of stripes on his shoulders anyway...and he wasnt carring a ticket book, hence the tickets came in the mail.
