Congrats Jim! Just the thing for a happy Xmas. Hope Heather and the boys are getting suitably expensive bribes, I mean gifts, to compensate

Rob and I had a good shifty around the Z750s at the bike show and really liked the look of it, particularly for the touring aspects. Problem is, it doesn't come in the colour most favoured by Pirates, Yell-arrrrrrr (but at least the ER6-N does).

Hope the bike turns out to be exactly what your after and offers hassle free motoring. When are you bringing it up to the naki??? (and where are the pics???)

Good choice. I've looked the Z750S myself and gone mmmm, nice.

I'd be interested to see how you get on with it.

Mrs H says its tangerine. So it must be. She wants one. So keep it away from her.

    Good skills, by the way...

Ahhhhh, the cunning plan has come to fruition.

Hope all goes well - tried the Z750 and it goes quite well - thinkin Im going to have to see the upright way in the near future........Ill just try a certain FZ1 over the break.......

That's it! The "Perfect Dentures" chap bought it.

He hasn't rung up and abused me yet, so he must like it.

Well done, sir. Onwards & upwards eh?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Thanks everyone who has replied.

    Now here are the pictures.

    First riding impressions.

    1. It's comfortable
    2. The fuel injection is light years better than the R6. Seriously. Not jerky or snatchy froma closed throttle.
    3. That vent thing at the bottom of the screen REALLY works. The airflow is really smooth, with no buffeting or excessive noise,
    4. It steers like a sprotsbike. Precise and fast.
    5. The controls fall nicely to hand and the instruments are super legible if a tad small.
    6. Even staying under 5000 rpm it has some go.
    7. It sounds awesome! I may not need a pipe. It says 80dB. Insert Tui moment here.
    8. The sum is greater than the parts. It shouldn't work this well for this little money.
    9. I love the profile and the rear view. The front is "interesting, but I can;t see it when I'm riding, can I?
    10. Did I mention it was comfortable? Did I talk about the noise?

Can't wait to do the suspension upgrade, because then I suspect it may well be perfect. What am I going to do then?? I'll have to hit a carbon fibre accessories catalogue!
