Good on you Jim. Despite the voices in your head and the spasms in your joints - you gallantly fought on. But there does indeed come a time...

I'm a on the other hand, am a wuss. I gave up on uncomfortable sports bikes last year. I don'se currently see myself ever owning a balls out sprotsbike ever again. And with the latest Biffbird being half way between a sprots bike and a tourer (duh!) I guess my next bike will be something even more 'cruisy' (not to be confused with a cruiser. Not for a long time yet, if ever).

I hope you enjoy your new steed, and that discover yet another new dimension to motormacycling that contributes to a much more pleasurable '06 for you and yours.

Congrats on the new wheels Jim, nice looking machine too!! I'm going to be following suit shortly and buy myself a nice expensive Christmas/New Years pressie, but unlike you i'm actually reverting back to something more sportier.

Hope you enjoy it immensely! :spudbn:

Heeeheehee. I cleaned my bike. It has 18kms on the odo. I cleaned it.

    Heeeheeeheeee.

MInd you it had quite a patina on it, and even though it looked great in the shop it looks better now.

    Heeeheehee.

Well done Jim, the bike is coolness. At 7000rpm the planets align. Let the good times roll.

If I bring mine over, would you clean it for me? Before you put all your stuff away?

Nice bike Jim, I'm truly envious I might buy a new bike, wash it, sit on it, take some pics, then trade it in and repeat.......

Only, you get to ride yours! I'm sure I'll get to see the new bike out and about sometime. It's a great choice mate.

I just went for a little ride.

Tyres are scrubbed in. So much for it being an old man's bike. So much for me being an old nana.

Can't wait to get the suspension bits though. The OEM stuff is a bit harsh.

I nearly dropped in on the way back from Whiteman's Valley.

Are you home next week? I'll pop out after work one night.
