    Biker Down - RIP

The holiday road toll climbed to six last night when a motorcycle and a car collided, killing the motorcyclist, a 47-year-old woman.

The accident happened on State Highway 1 on Johnsons Hill, just north of Orewa, about 8pm.

    What can I say. Bugger.
However I have not heard of any accidents from the race day yesterday. A lot of bikes on the road as we went in to Wanganui. I, for one, can say the riders we came across on the 500km plus trip were excellent. Well done people. But sorry to hear about this death. RIP.

I'm surprised there wasn't any more deaths. Riding in the cage to Wanganui I had dozens of bikes tearing passed us. Never seen people ride so wrecklessly untill now

    Bugger, sad to hear
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    RIP.

Sad to see another biker go down.

take it easy out there everyone. alot of traffic around people heading away for holidays and so on, best to be careful.

hope it doesnt keep climbing. always sad to hear of people dying at what it considered by most the best time of the year.

    Take care everyone.

    Cheers: MA

Take care out there everyone. I hate reading about motorcycle fatalities. Yes I know people die everyday, but this is close to home.

Be careful out their, its not called the silly season for nothing.
Lots of kids on the roads in mum’s car to add to the mayhem.
Condolences to the family and friends, may heaven be an endless windy road.
