I reckon the rider was equally dense hopping on the bike. I vaiguely remember learning to ride as an eight year old and although I stalled often for awhile, it was pretty hard to ride into things like that...

its an early version SV650 I think. the "round" frame one rather than the "square" frame one introduced in 2003.

the fool deserves it, open the throttle release the clutch = movement
so any idiot should have figured when heading towards a tree, grip the clutch, close the throttle (+brake) = stop

Why is it that in all these threads with these videos someone says something about not wearing a helmet? Try it sometime, you might like it. Not all "yanks" don't wear helmets and even the ones that do it does not make them stupid.

Easy, in a crisis that is out of their experience a lot of people 'freeze' hence no slowing down, no swerving, no braking, he'd just be thinking 'shit-shit-shit'
