    I had a merry xmas

Unlike some in a different thread..........
And I hope New Year will be just as good.
For starters I did all my xmas shopping on sat morning in about two hours. I'd planned it to take as little time as humanly possible.
Then mid arvo Kickaha arrived with Dangerous, Joni, and Rashika. Hadn't met the ladies before but they were very nice. We had a bit of a barby and they left for Wanganui via the ferry on Sunday morning.
Had a good chrissy lunch but not too much, then rode from Blenheim to Chch, in time for dinner. Traffic was light, conditions were warm and the road seemed to have good grip.
Beaut day on boxing day and I caught up with friends in Chch while the Mrs and her Mum went shopping. Went to Sniper's and Miss Sniper's (T) place, where I was greeted by T and the hundreds of pieces of her motorcycle scattered across the garage floor. Then sniper arrived from work and we got bike going eventually (as per thread: Farkin Bike).
jwalker, and his Mrs and friend arrived so all of us rode to Amberley, where I duly departed for the return trip to Blenheim. It was getting late in the day so again traffic was light and without going too fast on straight sections made it a quick trip through

So good to meet the Kbers I had not met before and some great riding, equalled a pretty damn good weekend for me.

Who else had a good xmas weekend?

I had a good christmas too..... just enough of those things you HAVE to do and plenty of the things I wanted to do thrown in!
Managed to fall over TWICE - both occasions completely sober so not sure what was going on there!
New Years looks promising too! Can't complain!!!!
No day is so bad that it can't be fixed with a nap

    Nice write up Stevo.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
