    Arrow Reserve?

Yea I almost learnt about it the hard way. I rode the TT up from Wellington to New Plymouth. I rode past a petrol station thinking that I should get more fuel so I can see how many KM/L I can get out of it. I still had the comment from the last owner that īt almsot as a full tank in it". So I kept going thinking, she'll be right! What a hassle that almost turned into. In the middle of no-where the bike coughs and splutters. Shyte, should I turn about and go back to that servo? I changed to reserve (it works on the TT) and kept going, but at a slower rate with no heavy acceleration. I passed a few villages but they all had no petrol station. I was really starting to think that I was going to run out and start pushing when I saw the water tower in the distance. Phew I thought, Foxton is close so I'll not have to push far. Anyhow I cruised into Foxton and just as I noticed the green BP sigh, the TT made another cough and died. I rolled the TT into the servo and filled up. Rather relieved that I'd managed to fluke it right to the bowser.

With that clip in your signature you probably need a new tyre with each tank of gas. I could watch that clip for hours (have actually)

    Me too

I use L/100km when I want to compare consumption to other forms of transport, because in the car mags that's what they always seem to benchmark it to. But then, some mags use km / L as well. I don't know, both seem to make sense enough to me *shrug*
