    Portable Battery Charger Needed to borrow.

    Hi all, has anyone got a portable battery charger that we could borrow until Wednesday or Thursday in Wellington area? Bought new bike, rode it home and now battery has gone flat and can't get new battery for it until next Thursday or Friday!! REALLY want to play on the new toy and it's killing me that it's sitting in the garage tormenting me!! Help please!!

    what the...! so you rode it home and the batterys flat ...how long did you leave it sitting for. and please tell me you checked the fuse :P lol

    yeah, checked fuses. When I went to collect the bike they had somehow flattened the battery and had to jump it for me to ride home on. So rode home, about 2 hour ride and then couldn't start it once home. Do you know if car jumper leads work on bike batterys, if I hooked them up from the GN battery to charge the battery in the CB?

    You can jump start them with another bike, or you can use a car, BUT dont have the car running!

    I will try the jump start tomorrow first.

    Is your charger one of those portable ones or does it plug into the mains?
