    yoshimura

    who stocks and sells yoshimura exhuasts in NZ

    and does any one know what sorta $$$$ they are for a slipon/bolt on or a full system?

    I don't know who stocks Yoshimura in NZ, but i paid $650NZ for a Yoshimura RS5 in Titanium from the USA. Shipping was 5 days.

    AFC motorcycles in Palmy do yoshies and I was looking at one for the zx6 the slip on was reasonable ( I cant remember exact the price).If you give them a call ask for bruce. Hope this sorta helps

    Mate Welly Mc's can get Yoshie parts and yoshiemura is expensive, but good shit. Personally unless your setting it up properly with a full system PC and all that I wouldn't bother. End cans are mainly about looks and noise these days. The OE stuff is pretty much on the money from the factory. Scorpion/Micron/Two Brothers will achieve a similar result but with less moolah spent. Try the online store at gixxer.com

    They have some interesting "specials".

    With aftermarket exhausts you generally get what you pay for. Some cheaper brands can reportedly actually reduce hp and torque figures.

    Just to throw another brand in the mix, give Mike a call at Mt Eden M/C's. He brings in Muzzy gear. Excellent quality and well priced in comparison with other brands. I got a set of titanium slip ons for the z and they look and sound sweet.

    I know a local '05 1000 owner who just paid $3000 for a full yoshi race system in titanium and carbon - go figure ??
