bif em in one of those zippable mesh bags usually used for washing stockings and bum floss comes out fine on a normal cycle with the rest of the washing.

I've not done mine yet... might be an idea... gets a little sweaty with this weather recently.

I would imagine just chuck them in the washing machine on a cool / cold wash... presto

I'm a typical male who only wash helmet linings when it gets overly smelly, and that doesn't happen that much with me? Just like the dishes, if you were to ask me when I do the dishes i'd say "when there are no more in the cupboard to use!"

Shit, I've been guilty of going out and buying more dishes so I don't have to face the mountain in the sink

Lol, reminds me of that movie scene where those teens parents go away and they have the house to themselves for the weekend and wreak havoc, he's sitting at the window with a gun and someone throws a plate out the window, he shoots it like a clay bird and says "the dishes are done!".

Water blasters are great for that.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
