Sure, late model jappa plastic fantastics have their time & place, but how many of these will ever become the 'classic, appreciating ,restorable collectables' of the future????

The biggest thing between the real classics of the 70s & 80s is that everyone knew & knows what they are, they all had individual form, style & sound.
The Dukes & Guzzis fitted with contis, the Laverda triples, the big jappas ( you could tell the sound of each brand )
The modern bikes, take the labels off & most people would be hard pressed to tell each brand apart, 99% of the 4cylinder bikes all sound the same, the V-twins sound identical
the Individualism has gone in modern bikes and thats what makes a real classic that single thing that sets it apart from the rest

Yeah baby!!!, I got me one of those, it sounds glorious!! ,a '75 850-T that now looks like the '74 750-S,itself one of the best looking Guzzis [and indeed motorcycles]ever made. The first pic is a 750-S & the second pic looks very close to my one [except for the mufflers, which in the pic are very quiet originals, not the conti music makers mine has got]

Speaking of 'guzzis, here is a nice one - MGS-01 race bike. Always had a soft spot for em, ever since I heard a Daytona 1000 rev up in a workshop with open pipes...

Still not sure if they're the best looking bike, I've still got to think about that...

    The best looking bike?

Kagayama Express K4 Gixxer, built by Crescent Suzuki.

Can't be fucked finding pics right now but if you're interested, you'll google it. Full BSB spec race bike with lights and a Rizla paint job. More power than a WSB spec bike. Yours for around 44000 pounds. If I ever win Lotto, I'll buy one and let you plebs bask in its glory.
