BMW with 7 k on the clock? My test rides are longer than that. I guess it is damn ugly so no one will want to test ride it anyway so that could explain it.

Its an ugly classic. Worth a bit later on in life
To every man upon this earth
Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
Sure can, ugly bugger isn't it. Those 7ks are probably from it being wheeled around for all those years
its possible, the red model such as that were the slowest sellers of the lot coz of the colour, the solid colour ones look much nicer.
when they were released they had the lowest drag coefficient of any bike made & were genuine 200kmh tourers
earlier in 2005 there was a 1991 GSX1100RR for sale in road and sport that was still packed in the crate!
dam thats a ugly ugly machine. but thats what makes it uneak.
but it would be worth it for the parts, or needs a color change.
heres some pics of the better looking colour schemes
thats ugly even for bmw!
There is no dark side of the moon, really, as a matter of fact. Its all dark...
There are still lots of bikes out there still in the crate or of super low mileage, some will have no real increased value but that depends on how keen the buyer is.Originally Posted by marty

$29875..the same house is now $200000+

Inline 4 cylinder like the K100 and very good top end speed back then.Originally Posted by ducatilover
Nope it's the flat 4 K motor. Yeah don't know who came up with the colour scheme... a Dutch designer on sabbatical to BMW maybe??.. just had a liddle schmoke and hey presto.Originally Posted by ducatilover
7 k's seems weird but Kerry at Motohaus has it so I'd trust it![]()
There is nothing to fear but fear itself...and spiders.

ugly isn't the word i would use to discribe it
i think they are a very interesting bike
as has been said b4, they were cutting edge as far a aerodynamics go at the time,
its the only beemer i would look at from that era.
just my 0.02c
cheers, Allan.
