    Angry The damage...

Photos today of the ST1300 as a result of its wee saga on Boxing Day. The rear pannier looks shocking. I suspect that adding a new brake lever would make this rideable. Lots of ugly and expensive panel grinding though. Hopefully the lefthand side is OK.

And to complete the set, a Shoei XR1000 after doing a great job protecting its wearer's head from the combined effects of gravity, forward momentum, asphalt, inattention and following too closely.

Never wear anything less than all the gear, all the time.

Ouch! But the RIDER is OK and thats the main thing. The bike is just a mass produced machine at the end of the day. You, on the other hand Mr H, could not be replaced.

Ouch Hitcher. That damage isn't a good site. Hope the insurance comes to the party and you heal up soon.

It's weird how the pannier has scratch marks in two different directions. I guess the bike must've spun around after it fell?

There's only one thing left to do....StreetFighter the F&*KER!!!

Hitcher...sorry to hear about your bin...When we rode through there there was still heaps of traffic and heaps of cops talking to various bikers too!

Hope you heal quick...let me know if there's anything you need a hand with.

Far out... dunno about those first few shots, but that duvet is just far too bloody girlie for a biker. You're gonna have to get much more masculine bedroom accessories before you're allow back to TRTNR.
