    your lucky Hitcher everything did its job how its supposed too, the crash bumpers on the fairing panel, the pannier & mirror all minimised the damage. And the most important the Shoei did exactly what its meant to do

    hope it all gets sorted soon & your back ticking up kms under those wheels

    The damage looks about the same as one of my rental Ultras that had a lie down in Greymouth, that was rideable after. Big tourers crash quite well, don't they.
    Your helmet's damage would put one off open face lids.

    The panier seems to have taken most of the impact. Apart from the mirror and lever, how's the bike mechanically? And how's you mechanically coming along?
