    touring tyres for zzr1100

    Hi all,
I've got a zzr1100 and it came with 2 new Dunlop 208 Sportmax's, but after 3500km they're worn out and I haven't really been riding it that hard. there is plenty of tread left in the middle but the sides are worn off.
So what what be a good set of tyres for 7500k to 10000k lifespan? I do mainly touring.

    thanks

I use pirelli diablo strada..seem to hold quite good so far.Good in the wet too.Spoken to some other guys like Fatjim who also runs Diablos and they recon it will last for at least 8k..I have done 2000 on mine now and the still look brand new.

    Michelin Macadam's
    I've had them on three bikes,HD FLT 1340,Yamaha SX650 and Kawasaki ZR750.
I was getting 10,000 kms eazy on the HD.I've put about 12000 Kms on the pair on my XS and resently put a pair on my ZR.Over xmas my wife and I did 1000kms in two days, some of it on gravel roads, and the feathery rubber things still haven't worn off even with two (not small)people and a Givi top box fully loaded up.
    Good value for money.

You cannot go too far wrong with a pair of Z6's. I got 7500km out of the first rear and will probably get 6500-7000 out of the current. The front will see about 15000km. Great tyres on the ZZR, heaps of grip, smooth, and good tyre life for the power/weight the bike has.
