Bummer about the new bike mate, glad I'm not paying your insurance premiums, you have insurance? Streetfighter, nope does not do anything for me. Get the bike back to the way its supposed to be. Having problems with gravel & unstable surfaces? Get an enduro bike and come riding gravel roads with me, helps in those sort of situations. However when you hit the stuff wrong, your going over no matter what. Shit, bit of a bad run you have been having, bout time that quit and you got into some good riding. Come up to the naki and have a yack to sensei, he has taught me a thing or three and as a result my riding got better. The motard idea it also a goodin, allways thought one of those would be cool to own. Like my TT, if its dropped there is alot less to be broken or upset. Its just good to hear that the rider is OK, feck bikes can be easily replaced and its no big deal. Keep riding dover and listen only to the sensible comments as at times they are few and far between, although we all know its usually just a big piss take, it can also become a tad annoying eh?

Thanks IL4, this thread was actually just a big piss take.

The bike is fine, just some scratched up fairings from a very low speed slide on a patch of gravel. There was no stopping it as I had already picked my line and was looking thru the corner, just lost the front wheel very quickly. I really wasn't worried, picked it up and carried on to catch up with Firefight. The fairing can be replaced, I was fine and I know I was riding well so fuck it.

I'll get my hairy ass down to the Naki sometime soon to see just what the old poof Sensei can teach me. I'm always keen to learn.
