    Are StreetFighters Really Cool?

I'm thinking that my next bike needs to be a bit on the unique side...I'm thinking StreetFighter!!!

In some of the pics I've seen, the StreetFighters look mint, in others they just look like tacky pieces of crap!

So, I've got this idea in my head that if a StreetFighter is done properly it's a piece of art and an expression of individuality. Am I right or do people just think they're ghay?

If you've got a pics of StreetFighters that either fit into the Cool or Ghay category...post them with your thoughts about what makes it cool or ghay.

I guess it's a personal thing. If they ring your bells, why not? It's a free world.

Personally I think they're stupid, sorta same category as those dumb farkin cars that have got suspension that let's them jump up and down (WHY???) or lowered turbo-charged Japper hatcbacks with blow-off valves and dustbin sized mufflers....all about "look at me".....but that's just a personal opinion..and WTF do I know? I'm old......................

to the point, streetfighters look really good if they are done right, just don't make it look too much like one of those pieces of crap from biker boys or anything equally as lame else we will have to dismantle the bike with a shotgun and shove back up your arse. ]

Streetfighters have to be done properly to be effective, most of the serious ones are way more than just cosmetic show pieces & have some serious hotrod motors & the trickest running gear available.

the black speedtriple in the collection below would be my choice

    You get that.

A good place to start looking for your potential streetfighter would be the wreckers.

Around the 'net you will find stories of guys doing creative stuff, eg putting SP1 forks, dropped bars, and twin headlights on a Hornet but you would need a waaay higher level of mechanical competence than I posses to get involved with that.

Aye corumba Sling. I have spent a very large amount of time researching this and have def tastes and the pic you posted doesnt come close . Each to his own.

The kind that I like is pictured below. I really dont like the pointy up tail thing, and just dont understand why they do that. I like the very short tail (like XB12S) but more tidier lines than what they can be.

I find the twin headlight triumph styles a bit boring too. Now the Z1000 stock looks good.
