can I suggest a possible (more interesting) alternate route from westgate to scenic drive?

Don Buck road -> Red Hills road -> Sunnyvale road/McEntee road -> across the intersection on Waitakere road and into Bethells road -> Te Henga road to Scenic drive.

They're less suburban than going through henderson/swanson and bethells and te henga roads are quite nice. The other roads are more interesting too.

    I'll see you at westgate.

May i suggest if you wan't to start a kindy club you start your own site for all the little boys and girl to join. The bases of this site is to combine ages, types of bikes, and gendas for one and all to enjoy. I'm sorry that your running around with a chip on your shoulder but your arrogance, stupidity and disrespect is not really welcome or appreciatied by this member.

it sounds like a great ride, having such sports bikes like goldwings, farm bikes, and cruisers that will be a huge sport bike ride, and only young people allowed so that's anyone under 80 thats wicked. woo hoo.
dam ill just get the old nifty 50 out and tag along.
did you say you will wait at every corner?

Just so everyone knows...i wasnt part of the "lets just invite young people" idea. Im sorry to say that i will have to agree with Wendy on this one. This site is for everyone and i personally enjoy riding with all ages.

Considering i have only had my bike for a couple of days i wouldnt mind having a more "mature" rider out there to look after me (notice the word old isnt in there )

Im still going to be there for the ride but the more the merrier in my opinion.

Come on guys, a ride is a ride!

okay, so i was bored. If you talk to some of the 'older' members in auckland you will find that I too enjoy riding with people of all ages - how else would team milf have started???

if it was a 250's only ride no one would have complained, its just a ride so come if you want - its not my road!

just read the first thread and it dont say anything descrimintating about age - just that if your 'youngish' i hope to see you at westgate. So what happened to all those 'young at heart' folk out there?
