    A day with the Trashes

Spent yesterday with the kids, it really makes you appreciate life when you get to see them growing up and progressing. They spent the morning in the pool at MrMe's place whith his rug rats as we sunk a few Steinys and worked on the various bikes lying around the place.

MrMe's boy Tristan has just started getting the hang of his MiniMoto he got for Christmas and my girls have been too scared to ride the quad since Eden rolled it the first day she had it two years ago.

My "screamer" motor is finally run in so I chucked the race clutch in it, and leaned it off two sizes on the main jet.

So late in the afternoon it was time to head off to an undisclosed private race track for some much needed kiddie bike therapy.

Unload the two minis and the quad and fired them all up.

Tristan (only 6) is a demon on the minimoto now, a real natural with a hell of a race face. He's got to get past his sister on the quad at whatever cost, including highsiding with the rear locked up heading into the hairpin.

Cranked the "screamer" up for a shakedown run, only did a few laps before I realised it's just too bloody fast without gear on. The thing HAULS! Taught the girls a few stunts on the quad. Eden loves 2 up wheelies while Lily (3) prefers we ride 'round on two wheels rather than 4. Mr Me taught Tristan how to wheelie the mini in an unorthodox fashion and seeing a 6 year old at 12 on a minimoto is hilarious.

Couple of pics, I'll post more when they come to hand.

It must be fun for them having a daredevil dad.

I can't help but think your daughter should be wearing a helmet though - even just a bicycle helmet.

It's hard to top quality time with your kids. Good on ya WT
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Yeah... I got taught how to wheelie at the age of 6 by Mr WT. Or mabey not.

One of my cousins seems to like those tiny gas-gas things (minimotos) and I can't wait to muck around with him on one of those things lol.
    Good on ya.

Have fun now before the demon teens...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

    Thats looks pretty cool WT.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
