yeah i plan on taking it easy
rode out to ragland that was fun but when i was back in hams at low speeds the bike was really jerky
tunrs out they had not done the balt up tight enoughwhen they put the new rubber on
I am just lucky it came undone in hamilton and not when i was on the way out to ragland.
So going to ring boyed honda tomorrow and let them know about that one![]()
Oh bugger. Never had a problem with Boyd Honda. They're excellent and usually right on the ball and also my choice of bike shop to buy from/do work on my bike. Even though I don't own a Honda.
I miss my CBR![]()
Rung boyed's up today told them about the prob and that i dont finish work till 5pm they said they will get one of the guys to hang round till 5:30 to check it all out for me. BIGfor Boyed Honda
when i first went shoping for gear Road and toad would only give me 5% discount when i said i wanted to spend $1000 cash. walked out went down the road to boyed they said sweet we will give you 10% on everything you buy
R&S wasted over three weeks handing in my insurance quote to the company. I avoid them as much as I can.
I'm hopefully not getting a suzuki for my next bike if I stay in hamilton.
A new Mirror cost me $10 less at Phil Turnbulls than one I bought last week.
I reckon Boyed Honda have to be one of the most helpful and reasonably priced shops in the N.I. I will deal with them again because they have gone the exta mile to see that I get what I need at a good price. Even cheaper to courier parts down here than it is to buy from here. Pitty about the carelessness you experienced with your tyre fitting though. Hope you got it sorted.
Yup, Boyds is allright. They let me take the 916 there out for a spin today when the Hamilton Motorcycles wouldn't even talk to me about one.

Love burn outs.
When somebody else is doing them that is.
I just keep thinking clutch clutch clutch, followed by $$$$$$$$
Nice effort but![]()
All this talk about clutches and chain wear with burn outs. I use to say that but one day it got the better of me and the old GSX-R went up to the pad and smoke. No need to drop the clutch. Just let it out and unload the back at the same time. When it starts to spin up just keep it going. Once it is up and melting it is not hard to control and is not over loading chain or clutch. Be careful if you let it stop and then try and restart it. It is very sticky and then it hard on the chain and clutch.
My son did it on his GPX 250.
His A100 even with race slicks........ Bloody kids![]()
