I snapped my subframe today just in front of where the seat bolts on, is this repairable or does the whole subframe need to be replaced, if so how much is this likely to cost?

Shouldn't be a major to weld it up.
I would weld an L shaped piece of metal in under and on the inside of the subframe as extra bracing
